Data Deletion

Three ways, depending on who you are: an account owner, a buyer who messaged a business, or a Meta account owner.

This page explains how to delete the data FEMIX holds about you. Who you are decides which of the three ways applies.

1. You own a FEMIX account

The fastest way is in the workspace: Settings → Account → Delete account. The account and all of your business data go to the recycle bin for 30 days (during which the deletion can be undone), after which they are permanently erased. Backups are overwritten within a further 30 days.

If you no longer have access to the workspace, write from the email address the account is registered to, to faimcore@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion". We will confirm the request and delete the data within the same period.

2. You messaged a business via Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram or Viber

Your conversation reached FEMIX because the business you wrote to connected its messenger account to our service. That business is the controller of this data, and the simplest route is to contact it: it can delete your customer record and conversation from its workspace.

If the business does not respond, or you prefer to contact us directly, write to faimcore@gmail.com with the subject "Messenger data deletion" and include:

  • the platform and your username (for example, Instagram @username);
  • the name or account of the business you wrote to;
  • the approximate period of the conversation.

We will locate your data in every workspace that holds it and delete it within 30 days, and let you know the outcome. To confirm the request is yours, we may ask you to send a message from the same messenger account.

3. You want to disconnect FEMIX from your Meta account

If you connected Instagram or Facebook to FEMIX and want to revoke access, you can do so on Meta's side — after that FEMIX no longer receives data from that account:

  • Instagram: Settings → Security → Apps and websites → find FEMIX → Remove.
  • Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → FEMIX → Remove.

Disconnecting on Meta's side stops access, but messages already received remain in the business's workspace for up to 30 days or until the channel is removed in FEMIX. To delete those as well, use way 1 (account owner) or way 2 (buyer).

What is not deleted immediately

Accounting records (invoices, payments) are kept for the period required by law even after the account is deleted. Records of consent are kept as evidence of which edition of the documents you agreed to. See the Privacy Policy for details.
